Responsibilities
- Coordinate multi-agency emergency response operations during public health crises
- Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans for vulnerable populations
- Lead COVID-19 testing/vaccination deployment initiatives across Miami-Dade
- Conduct risk assessments and provide real-time situational reports
- Manage disaster supply chain logistics for medical resources
- Train healthcare workers and community responders on emergency protocols
- Oversee data collection for epidemiological surveillance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years emergency management or public health response experience
- Florida Emergency Management Certification (FEMC) required
- Proven crisis communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Proficiency in GIS mapping and emergency management software
- Ability to work 24/7 during declared emergencies
- Spanish fluency required for Miami-Dade community engagement
- Valid Florida driver's license
