Responsibilities
- Investigate disease outbreaks and reportable conditions following CDC protocols
- Conduct epidemiological interviews and collect critical health data
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities, schools, and community organizations
- Develop and implement public health intervention strategies
- Document cases accurately in electronic health surveillance systems
- Provide health education to affected communities and vulnerable populations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in public health investigations
- Certified in Emergency Response (NIMS/ICS preferred)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours during emergencies
- Proficiency in health data management systems
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license
