Responsibilities
- Investigate disease outbreaks and conduct epidemiological surveillance
- Interview patients, families, and healthcare providers to trace transmission paths
- Implement containment strategies and public health interventions
- Collect and analyze data for disease trend identification
- Collaborate with healthcare facilities and community organizations
- Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate case records

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of field investigation experience
- Certification in Public Health Investigation (CPHI) preferred
- Strong interviewing and data analysis skills
- Ability to work under pressure during emergencies
- Valid California driver's license
- Proficiency in Epi-Info and health database systems
- Clear background check and fingerprinting required
