Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Coordinate community outreach initiatives and stakeholder partnerships across Pima County
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform program adjustments
- Prepare grant proposals and manage program budgets for health initiatives
- Lead emergency response planning for public health crises
- Train healthcare professionals and community health workers on best practices
- Monitor program outcomes and prepare comprehensive impact reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in public health program coordination or community health
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willing to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Experience developing grant proposals and managing budgets
- Strong knowledge of Arizona public health regulations and Title X programs
- Bilingual Spanish/English communication skills required
- Valid Arizona driver's license
