Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public health programs targeting underserved populations
- Analyze community health data to identify emerging trends and risks
- Coordinate with federal/state health agencies for grant compliance
- Lead cross-departmental task forces for emergency response preparedness
- Manage program budgets exceeding $2M annually
- Train staff on public health protocols and compliance standards
- Present program outcomes to city council and community stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in government/nonprofit program management
- PHR/SPHR certification or equivalent public health credentials
- Proficiency in health data analytics (Tableau/SPSS)
- Experience with federal grant applications (HRSA/CDC)
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish (required)
- Valid Texas driver's license
