Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and data analysis to identify emerging health trends
- Coordinate emergency preparedness responses including pandemic and disaster management
- Provide technical assistance to healthcare providers and community organizations
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with public health regulations
- Lead community outreach initiatives and health education campaigns
- Collaborate with state and federal health agencies for policy alignment
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field required
- 3+ years of public health program implementation experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) designation preferred
- Proficient in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Experience with emergency preparedness protocols
- Strong grant management and budgeting skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Valid Nebraska driver's license
