Responsibilities
- Develop and implement community health assessment programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and prioritize interventions
- Coordinate cross-sector partnerships with healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations
- Lead public health emergency response initiatives including outbreak investigation and mitigation
- Create culturally competent health education materials and outreach campaigns
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Monitor program performance metrics and prepare quarterly impact reports
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (MPH preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, SAS) and GIS mapping
- Experience securing and managing federal/state health grants
- Valid Arizona Driver's License and ability to travel county-wide
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish required
