Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health interventions targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and inform policy decisions
- Coordinate community health outreach events and vaccination campaigns
- Develop educational materials on chronic disease prevention and maternal/child health
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, schools, and non-profits for resource alignment
- Prepare grant proposals and manage program budgets
- Represent the county at public health coalitions and regulatory meetings
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Advanced data analysis skills with proficiency in SPSS/R/STATA
- Experience with community needs assessments and stakeholder engagement
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish required
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends for community events
