Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health interventions targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and prioritize resource allocation
- Collaborate with local government agencies and community organizations on health promotion campaigns
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Prepare comprehensive reports for legislative stakeholders and public health committees
- Lead crisis response coordination during public health emergencies
- Mentor junior staff and cross-functional teams on public health best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (required)
- 3+ years experience in government/public health program implementation
- Proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Knowledge of Minnesota public health regulations and CMS guidelines
- Valid Minnesota driver's license and reliable transportation
- Experience with grant management and federal reporting requirements
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
- Ability to work under pressure during public health emergencies
