Responsibilities
- Design and implement community health assessment programs to identify local health priorities
- Develop data-driven health education campaigns targeting underserved populations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate disease prevention initiatives
- Analyze public health data to track trends and evaluate program effectiveness
- Manage grant-funded projects focused on chronic disease prevention
- Represent the county in public health coalitions and community meetings
- Lead emergency preparedness response coordination
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Experience with health equity initiatives and community engagement
- Knowledge of CDC guidelines and public health regulations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
