Responsibilities
- Design and execute public health intervention programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze health data trends to identify emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for disease outbreaks and public health crises
- Develop educational materials and conduct community outreach initiatives
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, government agencies, and non-profit organizations
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and CDC guidelines
- Prepare detailed reports for city leadership and funding agencies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of public health program implementation experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, SAS) and GIS mapping tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement
- Experience with grant writing and federal program compliance
- Ability to work flexible hours during public health emergencies
- Valid Indiana driver's license
