Responsibilities
- Lead epidemiological investigations and disease surveillance for Houston's diverse population
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health intervention programs
- Coordinate with federal agencies (CDC, FEMA) during public health emergencies
- Analyze health data to inform policy recommendations for city council
- Manage grant-funded community outreach initiatives across Houston's 10 districts

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- 3+ years experience in governmental public health roles
- Valid Texas Public Health Certification
- Proficiency in SPSS/R for statistical analysis

- Emergency management certification (EMT-P or equivalent)
