- Coordinate crisis communication protocols and public response initiatives
- Collaborate with agency leadership on messaging alignment and policy communications
- Analyze public feedback metrics and optimize communication approaches
- Oversee public records requests and information disclosure processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in government/public sector communications
- Proven expertise in crisis communication and media relations
- Proficiency with digital content management systems (CMS) and analytics tools
- Strong writing/editing skills with ability to simplify complex information
- Valid Arizona Driver's License (for agency travel requirements)
- Experience managing public records requests and FOIA compliance
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 1 Public Trust security clearance
