Responsibilities
- Research and analyze complex policy issues using quantitative/qualitative methods
- Develop legislative proposals and regulatory frameworks aligned with state priorities
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for executive leadership and legislative bodies
- Collaborate with cross-agency task forces to implement policy initiatives
- Monitor federal legislation and assess impacts on Pennsylvania operations
- Stakeholder engagement with community leaders and advocacy groups
- Track policy outcomes and recommend evidence-based adjustments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 3+ years policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis tools (SPSS, R, Stata)
- Deep understanding of Pennsylvania's legislative and regulatory processes
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills with executive audiences
- Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred
- Clearances for handling sensitive government data required
