Responsibilities
- Research and draft comprehensive policy briefs for state legislative sessions
- Analyze fiscal impacts of proposed legislation using data modeling tools
- Coordinate with agency directors to align policy objectives with state priorities
- Present findings to legislative committees and stakeholder coalitions
- Monitor federal policy changes affecting state implementation strategies
- Develop public-facing communications materials explaining policy implications

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sectors
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, or SAS) for impact modeling
- Demonstrated success in drafting legislation or regulatory frameworks
- Active Arizona State Government security clearance or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Expertise in healthcare policy or infrastructure funding preferred
- Strong written communication with published policy papers or reports
