Responsibilities
- Analyze legislative proposals and regulatory impacts for state agencies
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and implementation roadmaps
- Coordinate with stakeholders including legislators, agencies, and public advocates
- Monitor federal compliance requirements and adapt state policies accordingly
- Prepare testimony and reports for legislative committees and public hearings
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative research using advanced analytical tools
- Lead cross-functional teams on special policy initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of government or public policy experience
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis software (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Florida Driver's License
- Knowledge of Florida Sunshine Law and legislative processes
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
- Experience with budget analysis and grant administration
