Responsibilities
- Analyze legislative proposals and regulatory impacts using quantitative/qualitative research methods
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and recommendations for state agencies
- Coordinate cross-departmental projects to implement public health initiatives
- Present findings to legislative committees and senior leadership
- Monitor federal compliance requirements and ensure state alignment
- Lead stakeholder engagement sessions with community organizations
- Manage program evaluation metrics and performance dashboards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of policy analysis experience in government or nonprofit sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Georgia driver's license
- Knowledge of federal grant application processes
- Experience with public budgeting and fiscal policy frameworks
