Responsibilities
- Analyze complex legislative proposals and regulatory impacts for state agencies
- Research and prepare detailed policy briefs for senior leadership review
- Coordinate interdepartmental stakeholder meetings and public forums
- Develop quantitative models to assess policy implementation outcomes
- Track federal and state legislative changes affecting Floridian communities
- Present findings to legislative committees and public officials
- Maintain compliance with Sunshine Law and public record regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 3+ years of policy analysis or legislative experience
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R) and data visualization tools
- Expert knowledge of Florida's legislative processes and Sunshine Law
- Advanced written/verbal communication skills with executive experience
- Valid Florida driver's license (required for field work)
- Professional certification in public policy (e.g., CPPA) preferred
