Responsibilities
- Analyze legislative proposals and regulatory impacts for state agencies
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and implementation roadmaps
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align policy objectives
- Present findings to senior leadership and legislative committees
- Monitor policy outcomes and recommend data-driven adjustments
- Manage stakeholder engagement across public/private sectors
- Support emergency response coordination for state initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of government or public sector experience
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau)
- Strong written/verbal communication skills with legislative drafting experience
- Knowledge of Georgia state government operations and regulations
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Active security clearance or eligibility for background investigation
