Responsibilities
- Analyze legislative proposals and evaluate their impact on city operations
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs for executive leadership review
- Coordinate interdepartmental projects related to urban planning initiatives
- Conduct quantitative research using municipal data sets
- Present findings to city council and community stakeholders
- Monitor federal and state policy changes affecting local governance
- Manage grant applications for community development programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 3+ years of policy analysis experience in government sector
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, R)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Indiana municipal regulations
- Valid Indiana driver's license
- Ability to obtain security clearance
