Responsibilities
- Analyze complex state legislation and regulatory impacts
- Develop policy recommendations for legislative initiatives Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using government databases
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs for senior officials
- Collaborate with cross-agency task forces
- Monitor federal compliance requirements
- Present findings to legislative committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 3+ years policy analysis experience
- Proficiency with statistical software (SPSS, R)
- Texas residency required
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Clear background check
- Strong written communication skills
- Experience with government procurement processes
