Responsibilities
- Analyze state legislation and municipal policies to assess impact on Jacksonville residents
- Prepare detailed research reports and policy recommendations for city council
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to implement strategic initiatives
- Monitor compliance with federal/state regulations for local programs
- Present findings to stakeholders through executive summaries and public forums
- Develop data-driven solutions for urban development challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience in government or nonprofit policy analysis
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong knowledge of Florida Sunshine Law and public records regulations
- Excellent written communication with sample policy portfolio required
- Certification in Public Policy or Urban Planning preferred
- Valid Florida driver's license for occasional travel
