Responsibilities
- Analyze complex fiscal policies and economic trends to inform strategic recommendations
- Prepare ministerial briefings and policy papers on public sector reforms
- Collaborate with cross-government teams to implement national strategies
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative research on economic impacts
- Monitor policy implementation and evaluate outcomes against KPIs
- Represent the department at intergovernmental forums and stakeholder meetings
- Maintain compliance with public sector governance frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Economics, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years' experience in policy analysis or public sector research
- Advanced proficiency in economic modelling and data visualization tools
- Deep understanding of UK government decision-making processes
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Relevant security clearance or willingness to obtain SC clearance
