Responsibilities
- Analyze legislative proposals and regulatory impacts for state agencies
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and implementation frameworks
- Collaborate with stakeholders across government and community sectors
- Monitor federal policy changes affecting North Carolina residents
- Present research findings to legislative committees and agency leadership
- Manage grant-funded projects with $1M+ budgets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 3+ years policy analysis or government experience
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Proven track record of stakeholder engagement
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Knowledge of NC state government operations
