Responsibilities
- Answer emergency and non-emergency calls for police, fire, and medical services
- Dispatch appropriate emergency response units using CAD systems
- Maintain accurate call documentation and incident reports
- Provide life-saving instructions via phone during critical incidents
- Operate radio equipment and multi-line phone systems
- Coordinate with multiple agencies during complex emergencies
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 1-year customer service experience
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Valid Colorado driver's license
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong multitasking and stress management skills
- Basic computer proficiency with Windows OS
