Responsibilities
- Dispatch police, fire, and emergency medical services to emergency calls
- Maintain constant communication with field personnel during critical incidents
- Operate Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) and emergency notification systems
- Provide pre-arrival medical instructions to callers
- Maintain detailed incident documentation and logs
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during major emergencies
- Participate in continuous training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Arizona Driver's License
- Ability to pass background check and psychological evaluation
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM
- Experience in high-stress customer service environments
- Basic computer proficiency with Windows OS
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work
