Responsibilities
- Manage emergency 911 calls, dispatching police, fire, and EMS resources with precision
- Maintain detailed incident documentation using CAD/RMS systems
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Provide crisis intervention and pre-arrival medical guidance
- Monitor radio communications and maintain situational awareness
- Operate emergency notification systems for city-wide alerts
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols for sensitive information
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year customer service or call center experience
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Proficient with computer systems and data entry
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license
- Pass criminal background check and drug screening
- Emergency medical dispatch (EMD) certification preferred
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
