Responsibilities
- Patrol designated areas to deter criminal activity and ensure public safety during overnight hours
- Respond promptly to emergency calls, accidents, and security incidents
- Monitor surveillance systems and investigate suspicious activities
- Document incidents, prepare detailed reports, and testify in court when required
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and emergency services
- Conduct security checks of government buildings and critical infrastructure
- Provide first aid and emergency response assistance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in criminal justice preferred
- Minimum 21 years of age with valid DC driver's license
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays on rotating schedule
- Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- US citizenship or permanent resident status required
