Responsibilities
- Patrol designated city areas to prevent crime and ensure public safety
- Respond to emergency calls and incident reports within 15-minute response time
- Conduct thorough investigations and document findings per NC state protocols
- Collaborate with emergency services during critical incidents
- Enforce municipal ordinances and state laws
- Participate in community outreach programs
- Maintain accurate incident reports and digital records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (college degree preferred)
- Valid NC Class C driver's license
- Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) certification
- Ability to pass NC criminal background check
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Minimum 2 years public safety experience
- Proficiency in digital reporting systems
- Fluency in English (Spanish bilingual preferred)
