Responsibilities
- Patrol designated city areas to deter crime and ensure public safety
- Respond to emergency calls and provide first aid during critical incidents
- Conduct thorough investigations of reported incidents and accidents
- Collaborate with community members to address safety concerns
- Maintain accurate incident reports and digital records
- Participate in disaster preparedness and emergency response drills
- Enforce local ordinances and state laws with professionalism
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Texas Peace Officer License or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license with clean record
- CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain
- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Pass comprehensive background check and physical fitness assessment
- Experience with community policing initiatives a plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency strongly preferred
