Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency calls and provide first aid during critical incidents
- Patrol assigned areas to deter criminal activity and ensure public safety
- Enforce municipal ordinances and state laws with professionalism and integrity
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with community members to address safety concerns
- Participate in continuous training programs for skill development
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Valid New Mexico driver's license with clean record
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months of hire
- Ability to pass background check, physical agility test, and psychological evaluation
- Strong communication skills and conflict resolution abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and public safety reporting systems
- Minimum 2 years of public safety or military experience
