Responsibilities
- Enforce municipal ordinances and state laws within designated patrol zones
- Respond to emergency calls and conduct thorough investigations
- Collaborate with community leaders to implement safety programs
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Participate in specialized training for crisis intervention and de-escalation
- Conduct regular community outreach and public education initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Peace Officer License (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 2 years law enforcement or public safety experience
- Pass background check, physical fitness assessment, and psychological evaluation
- Bilingual in English/Spanish (required)
- Certification in Crisis Intervention Training (CIT)
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
