Responsibilities
- Patrol designated city areas to maintain public safety and deter criminal activity
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and citizen requests during weekend shifts
- Enforce local ordinances and state laws with professionalism and integrity
- Document incidents, prepare detailed reports, and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during emergency situations
- Provide community outreach and education programs on public safety topics
- Operate communication systems and safety equipment per protocol
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Ability to work flexible weekend schedules (Saturdays/Sundays)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic first aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure in emergency situations
- U.S. citizenship or legal resident status
