Responsibilities
- Coordinate emergency response operations during weekend shifts, including dispatch and incident management
- Conduct community patrols and safety assessments in designated neighborhoods
- Implement public safety initiatives and emergency preparedness programs
- Document incident reports and maintain accurate safety records
- Collaborate with law enforcement, fire departments, and community organizations
- Provide public education on safety protocols and emergency preparedness
- Participate in weekend emergency drills and training exercises
- Monitor public safety systems and equipment functionality
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in criminal justice or public safety preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in emergency services, law enforcement, or public safety
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency in emergency response systems and safety software
- Certification in CPR, first aid, or emergency management preferred
- Ability to pass background check and physical fitness assessment
