Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate government records and confidential files with the highest level of discretion.
- Process and verify weekly payroll documents and time sheets to ensure accuracy.
- Assist the public via phone, email, and in-person with inquiries regarding county services, policies, and procedures.
- Prepare and distribute routine correspondence, reports, and memorandums.
- Perform data entry and database management using County-specific software systems.
- Collaborate with department staff to streamline office operations and improve service delivery.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
- Previous experience in a government or public administration setting is highly desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn new database systems quickly.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive government information.
- Must be available to work a standard full-time schedule (Monday through Friday).
