Responsibilities
- Coordinate cross-departmental public service initiatives and community outreach programs
- Manage stakeholder relationships with local organizations and government agencies
- Analyze service delivery metrics and implement process improvements
- Develop and maintain public-facing communications and educational materials
- Lead community engagement sessions and public forums
- Monitor compliance with federal, state, and municipal regulations
- Prepare comprehensive reports for leadership and policy recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Urban Planning, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in government or nonprofit public services
- Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Knowledge of Portland's municipal structure and community needs
- Proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, Tableau)
- Valid Oregon driver's license
- Ability to work evenings/weekends for community events
