Responsibilities
- Oversee county-wide public service operations and strategic planning
- Manage departmental budgets exceeding $5M
- Coordinate emergency response initiatives with city and state agencies
- Lead community outreach programs for underserved populations
- Develop data-driven policy recommendations for county commission
- Supervise 50+ staff across multiple service divisions
- Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and grant requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- 8+ years in public sector management with 3+ at director level
- Proven track record in crisis management and rapid deployment
- Advanced certification in Public Management (CPM preferred)
- Experience with federal grant applications and compliance
- Strong analytical skills with data visualization expertise
- New Mexico driver's license and clean driving record
