Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including street sweeping, park maintenance, and facility repairs
- Operate light machinery (e.g., mowers, trimmers, pressure washers) safely and efficiently
- Assist in stormwater management and drainage system maintenance
- Support emergency response efforts during weather-related events
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Adhere to all federal, state, and municipal safety regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California Class C driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Experience with landscaping, construction, or public works preferred
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and emergencies
