Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, loaders, and dump trucks
- Perform road maintenance and repair work on county highways
- Assist in storm drain cleaning and flood prevention projects
- Conduct site preparation and grading for new construction
- Maintain public parks and recreational facilities
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Collaborate with engineering teams for project implementation
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver's License (Class C minimum)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in construction or landscaping preferred
- Must be a US citizen or authorized to work
