Responsibilities
- Operate city-provided heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers, dump trucks)
- Perform manual labor on infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, parks)
- Conduct daily equipment safety checks and maintenance
- Follow OSHA and NYC safety protocols
- Assist skilled tradespeople on complex construction sites
- Maintain clean and organized work zones
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Basic tool knowledge preferred
- Pass background check and drug screening
- NYC residency required (within 5 boroughs)
