Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor in construction, maintenance, and repair of public infrastructure
- Operate heavy machinery including backhoes, loaders, and street sweepers
- Assist in traffic control and safety compliance at work sites
- Conduct routine inspections of sidewalks, roads, and drainage systems
- Prepare work areas and clean up debris after projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on public works initiatives
- Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Arizona Driver's License with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year experience in construction or maintenance labor
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and heavy equipment operation
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and team collaboration
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, dust, monsoon season)
