Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, carrying materials, and operating basic hand tools
- Assist in construction, repair, and maintenance of sidewalks, roads, parks, and public facilities
- Support landscaping operations including planting, pruning, and irrigation system maintenance
- Operate light machinery (training provided) such as lawnmowers, pressure washers, and small excavators
- Maintain clean and organized work sites following safety protocols
- Collaborate with crew members to complete daily project objectives efficiently
- Report equipment issues and maintenance needs to supervisors
Qualifications
- No prior experience required - we train all new hires!
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Valid California Driver's License (Class C) or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of workplace safety practices
- Reliable transportation to various work sites throughout Santa Ana
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and work collaboratively in a team
- Pass pre-employment physical examination and background check
