Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks including digging, hauling, and loading materials.
- Assist in street maintenance, pothole repair, and snow removal operations.
- Operate light equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Clean and maintain public areas, parks, and right-of-ways.
- Follow all safety regulations and departmental protocols.
- Collaborate with crew members to complete projects on schedule.
- Report maintenance issues and unsafe conditions to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not always required.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- No prior construction or public works experience required.
