Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including street repair, snow removal, and park maintenance
- Operate light machinery (sweepers, mowers, forklifts) with proper safety protocols
- Assist in construction projects including utility work and pavement repairs
- Maintain cleanliness of public spaces and remove debris/waste
- Conduct routine inspections and report infrastructure concerns
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on city improvement initiatives
- Adhere to all OSHA and municipal safety regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Minnesota Driver's License (Class B preferred)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in all weather conditions
- Basic equipment operation experience or willingness to obtain certification
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Previous public works or construction experience preferred
- Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
