Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties including excavation, paving, and cleaning streets and right-of-ways.
- Operate heavy machinery and equipment such as backhoes, rollers, dump trucks, and loaders.
- Assist in the repair and maintenance of water mains, sewer lines, and street lights.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
- Clear debris and perform snow removal duties during inclement weather.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Class C Texas Driver's License with a good driving record.
- Physical ability to perform heavy manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and outdoor environments.
- Basic knowledge of construction and maintenance equipment is a plus but not required.
- Ability to pass a post-offer drug screen and background check.
