Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor for road maintenance, drainage systems, and park infrastructure
- Operate light machinery (saws, jackhammers, compactors) with proper safety protocols
- Assist in stormwater management and flood control projects
- Maintain public spaces including sidewalks, landscaping, and recreational facilities
- Collaborate with supervisors and crew members to meet daily project goals
- Report hazards and maintain site cleanliness per OSHA standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid California Driver's License
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor environments
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction safety
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Willingness to obtain required certifications (paid training provided)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
