Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate heavy machinery including dump trucks, graders, and asphalt pavers
- Respond to emergency infrastructure repairs during storms or accidents
- Conduct site inspections and prepare maintenance reports
- Collaborate with engineering teams on infrastructure improvement projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and municipal safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid Arizona Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Minimum 2 years experience in public works or construction
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of GIS mapping systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
