Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on municipal roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate heavy equipment including dump trucks, street sweepers, and trenchers
- Respond to emergency stormwater and infrastructure repairs
- Conduct park maintenance including landscaping and equipment upkeep
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain accurate work records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on city improvement projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years maintenance experience
- Valid Texas Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
