Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on municipal facilities, parks, and roadways
- Operate heavy equipment including trucks, loaders, and snow removal machinery
- Respond to emergency repairs during severe weather and public safety events
- Inspect and maintain playgrounds, athletic fields, and green spaces
- Collaborate with engineering teams on infrastructure improvement projects
- Document work activities using digital reporting systems
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and municipal safety regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years maintenance experience
- Valid Wisconsin Commercial Driver's License (Class B)
- Certification in heavy equipment operation or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems and power tools
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
