Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repair of city streets, sidewalks, and traffic signals.
- Clear debris and maintain drainage systems to prevent flooding.
- Operate heavy machinery, including dump trucks, backhoes, and jackhammers.
- Assist with snow removal and ice control during winter months.
- Conduct inspections of public infrastructure and report hazards.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a good driving record.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction or maintenance equipment is a plus.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
